Each and every liver transplant recipient will give a captive account of their close encounter with death from liver failure and how they went from pillar to post for help with no luck and finally escaped death narrowly with a liver transplant. Most patients who had successful transplants where at one time, been condemned by their treating doctors to death. They were either told to go home and die in peace or their families have been given the option of disconnecting the ventilator and take the body home for final rites when they were critically ill in the ICU.
