A. Donor operation:
To separate the donor liver into two healthy halves and remove one for transplant.

1. Donor liver before division into two healthy halves
2. Donor liver after division
3. Divided donor liver showing liver blood vessels to both halves
4. One half of donor liver
removed for transplantation
into recipient

5. Donor liver prepared for transplant by bench surgery

B. Recipient operation:
To remove the diseased liver and transplant the healthy donor liver
